What if I slow the class down?
Don't worry! CrossFit is designed to be adaptable. We personalize our plan and our workout to what will challenge you safely. You don't slow anyone down because you are only working with for and against yourself.
Is it safe?
Our certified instructors will teach you the basics from the ground up. Just like many sports, you don't move onto harder skills until you master the foundation. Couch to CrossFit is designed to establish that confidence in your body while challenging it to get stronger. We can work with and around many physical issues - and will work with your health care professional with accommodations and work arounds.
What will we be doing?
You will be using a wide variety of easy to handle objects like kettlebells, wallballs, barbells, dumbbells, skipping ropes, and your own body weight.
What does a class look like?
Every group training will look very similar (at our gym and worldwide).
After warming up we spend 15-25 min on skill work. This could be specific movements that are foundational movements as well as accessory work to strengthen and develop better movement patterns.
The second half of class is the work out. This is where you really will sweat it out. CrossFit's approach combines movements with weights (dumb bells, kettle bells, barbells) with cardio and body weight exercises in infinite combinations.
Over time you will see and feel the impact of this style of training.
Do I need special equipment?
All you need is some comfortable clothing and a decent pair of running or flat shoes. We provide the rest.
How much does it cost?
For a single person the cost is $475 for or $160/month for the 3 month program.
For a couple the cost is $420 per person or $140 per month for the 3 month program.
